I understand perfectly how you feel. I lost close to 10 million naira to loan apps, and all my businesses collapsed (yes, you heard me right—10 million naira when the exchange rate was around ₦280/$). I was indebted to 35 loan apps, and I was defamed repeatedly for about three months. My family rejected me, and many of my friends had to block me because of the loan apps.

But I thank God for a few friends who stood by me. I almost made the same decision too. I even bought a used phone specifically to collect loans without any intention of paying them back. But I thank the Lord for stopping me through an inner witness and supportive friends. I chose to let go and start a new life, and within three months, my Lord Jesus restored everything. I got a high-paying job and a contract, and I bounced back.

Through my wounded heart, the Lord has used this Facebook group and our website to liberate over 58,000 people from the shackles of loan apps. I encourage you to stop walking down that path, because two wrongs can never make a right. Let go, so that the Lord can step in for you. You can't fight this battle like God can.

If you are still in the bondage of loan apps, simply stop paying and start a new life. They can't do anything to you. Never pay a dime after defamation. Most of them operate illegally, so there are no serious consequences.
